Project: iTunes Essentials copywriting (2004 – 2011)

As the sales of MP3s and iPods began to eclipse physical music, Apple recruited a tight-knit team of copywriters to curate special “Essentials” playlists for iTunes. Over the course of my seven years as an independent contractor for the company, I wrote about everything from Jay-Z to Judas Priest, and executed special projects for such key stakeholders as Activision (Guitar Hero) and Dr. Dre.
